Central Processing Unit (CPU)

The central processing unit of this operator system is comprised of our 110 VAC Servo Drive. It was carefully selected due to its durability, scalability with open programming, and its ease of use. These attributes have been tested and proven in the world of robotics technology and in many high-speed manufacturing facilities. The CPU includes our standard programming and can be operated or programmed with a human machine interface (HMI) controller. This technology allows the system to operate without the use of a speed control board and includes the ability to adjust the speed settings with the HMI.Sample Text.

Drive System

The drive system consists of a 200 VAC Servo Motor, 100:1 Inline Gear Reducer, Bellows Coupling, 5:1 Right-Angle Worm Gear Reducer, Operator Arm and Cam Roller Block. The drive system was designed to safely handle a properly installed swing door system weighing up to 12,000 lbs, 72 inches in width, and max torque of 1000 lb-in for up to 500,000 cycles. The system’s configuration offers minimal backlash or slack which provides for smooth and precise operation throughout its cycle.

Safety and Egress

Interruption of Power – UL325 Section 29.3
It is very important that any operator does not hinder the opening of a swing door during an interruption of power event. Our operator is designed to allow the door to be moved with a force of no more than 50lbf during interruption of power

Entrapment – UL325 Section 29.4
Our operator shall not close with a force greater than 40lbf at the leading edge during its closing cycle. If at any moment the system detects a force greater than 40lbf, the operator will stop the door immediately and disengage the motor. The door can be moved manually after stoppage. The operator programming does not allow the door system to close faster than 1.5 seconds within the last 10 degrees of movement.
